Effective Range:

Current transformers (CT) can generally be used up to 1.2 times of the primary current. In this range, the measurement will be fine respective of the given accuracy class. For example, on a 630A busbar system, a 600A CT may be used. The measurement will be within range of the given accuracy up to 720A.
